• CHRIS HALE: a Servant Leader Standing Strong for Faith, Freedom, and Family

  • A Servant Leader

Hearing the call to serve, Chris knew it was time to dedicate himself to a higher cause and become a public servant. Chris describes it as a calling to do what was right.

“After much prayer and and careful deliberation I have decided to run for State Representative in District 34.”

Together with his family, Chris decided to take this journey and begin his campaign for State Representative. It is with faith and a love for his community and country that Chris asks for your support. Together, we will build a better tomorrow for our children, grandchildren, and the future generations to come.

  • A Man of Faith

Chris is a strong Christian, and that has been his spiritual cement—keeping him grounded and humble since high school.

Chris' friends will attest that his faith always keeps him in check, which is why he doesn't drink, smoke, or swear.

Chris felt God's call to begin this campaign, which is why Chris is running this race to His benefit.

  • Sacrificed for Freedom

Chris is a US Army veteran, having enlisted during the presidency of Commander in Chief Ronald Reagan.

While in the military, Chris was an Airborne Light Weapons and NBC Specialist, which included a deployment to Nicaragua with an HCC attachment to 3/7th Special Forces. During this tour, Chris helped train anti-communist Contras, who were fighting to overthrow the socialist Sandinista government and stop its efforts to spread communism throughout Latin America.

Following his enlisted service, Chris enrolled in ROTC at the University of Central Florida (UCF), serving as Company Commander.

Chris is also past Treasurer for the Coastal Bend Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).

  • A Family Man

Chris is a devoted husband of 30 years to his wife, Ina. Together, they have been blessed with two sons and three daughters, ages 17-26.

His dedication as a husband and father will drive Chris’ commitment to protect and promote the traditional family, conservative values, and the sanctity of life in the legislature.

  • Career and Education

Chris is a Licensed Professional Engineer and Civil Program Manager for Govind Development, LLC, primarily practicing Civil Engineering in the transportation sector.

From 2015 to early 2018, Chris worked as a Project Manager for Major Projects in the City of Corpus Christi. In that role, Chris identified common-sense and innovative ways to save the City of Corpus Christi—and taxpayers—millions of dollars, while ensuring that the over $90 million in roadway projects he managed were delivered on time and under budget.

Prior to his public service, Chris worked for RHSI, a full service engineering and project management firm. Chris' work in the private sector has spanned several engineering consulting firms in multiple states.

Chris received his BSCE (Civil Engineering) at the University of Minnesota, and also studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Central Florida.
